I can recomend this trial to anyone, all who rode had a great time and will be going back next year!
The route is well laid out and has sections for all abilities with the last section having a beer tent!
Its not really a classic trial but they do have awards for best in class for the old bikes, Howard took the best old bike in the S3 class, I took the best old bike in S4 class and came second overall !
We both rode our Yamaha TY250 Pinkys, still a very capable bike in the right hands
2 laps a day took about 10 hours each with the last day only one lap, we heard they may have one long lap per day next year ? Time was tight especially on day 3 we had to be back in the village for 5pm to start our last loop , I was in the woods and could hear the bells from the village so I knew it was 5 pm already !
A mad ride back to the village to check in at 5.10pm was okay with the officials phew !!
You can choose how many laps you want to ride 1 lap or 2 laps, put it this way a 79 year old finished the 1 lap course an inspiration to anyone !
