SWM TL 320 1982
This is how the bike started life, Martin from MotoSWM sent me some pictures and the deal was done and the project collected, what had I done not worked on a bike for years!
Wheels had seen better days, spokes cut out, hubs sent off for powder coating and rims dressed and sanded till all thescratches and damage had gone.
Engine was good condition so cleaned up and flatted ready for etch primer and paint
Rims flatted with 800 wet & dry paper and then with a lot of time and effort polished to a better than new finish, rebuilt with stainless steel spokes and new wheel bearings
Engine painted and detailed, heat proof paint on head and barrel and normal satin black paint on crank cases
Project well under way , powder coated frame , engine and exhausted fitted, new Betor rear shocks and some brand new old stock original Betor SWM front forks from Italy
Attention to detail on the forks and front brake
Getting close now and waiting for the rubber seat, think I must have waited 10 months and non available.
The finished bike, the only problem no rubber seat, even managed to get the original rear shock springs onto the Betor shocks, new old stock rear brake pedal and foot rests fitted, genuine Acerbis side panels, too many parts and too much money spent to mention !
